Step into a world where today's hustle and bustle slows to a pleasant stroll across a wide plank wood floor. Here you'll find the nation's smallest covered bridge - right inside the store. There are no fancy frills here and the word "Authentic" still means something.

This old hardware store first opened in 1890 and soon became the hub of trading and activities in the Lancaster County community of Bird-in-Hand. Everything in the store, from the counters to the hardware drawers, is as it was in the nineteenth century.

The main barn is 150 years old. At the turn of the century, beneath its floorboards, local workers assembled Ford and Overland cars.

Take your time and browse through seven rooms of merchandise - from kerosene lamps to old-fashioned candies, from handcrafts to bonnets, from crocks to cast-iron cookery - many items you won't find just anywhere.
